Relatively Speaking opens in the city flat of young co-habiting couple Ginny and Greg. Greg finds a strange pair of slippers and is suspicious of Ginny's plans to visit her parents in the country. He follows her. She is really visiting her lover Philip to break off their affair. At Philip's country house, Greg mistakes Philip and his wife Sheila for Ginny's parents. Ginny's arrival further complicates an already hilarious situation. A classic dark Ayckbourn comedy.
