Invitation to take part in our Winter Revue

Auditions: Tuesday 1st October
7.30 pm in the clubrooms

We are looking for contributors to our Winter Revue to be held on Saturday 23rd Novermber in the Columcille Centre.
This will be a collection of small pieces and performances and is the perfect opportunity to perform something you've been working on, or you've always wanted to try.

Some of the things we're looking for include:

Small one act plays (15-30 minutes)
    Monologues or Duologues (5 minutes)
Small extracts from full length shows (5-10 minutes)
Performed poetry, short stories or songs

But we're open to suggestions!

The performances could either be staged fully, or could be in the style of radio plays or rehearsed readings, but there are some things to consider:

We won't have a technical rehearsal so the performance should require minimal technical effects, set and costumes
They should be entertaining to the general public (this doesn't mean they have to be comedic!)
You should ideally have a cast in mind, or shouldn't require too many people!

We're now looking for performers to join our Winter Revue! There are a variety of roles available for people of all ages. These won't be your traditional auditions. The directors/writers of the pieces will introduce themselves and the characters available and then we will operate our auditions 'speed dating' style where you'll be likely asked to perform a short extract on the spot. We encourage everyone to attend from experienced amateur actors to first timers!

If you'd like to be involved but can't make it please email with your name, age, gender and optionally the types of roles you would be interested in.
